Public Hearing Notice


Residents of the Town of Newbury and other interested persons please note that on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. at the Newbury Town Hall, 25 High Road, Newbury, MA, the Newbury Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing for a Special Permit for a proposed 2.795 mW (DC) Ground-Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installation on property located at 136 Main Street (Map R41, Lot 42A), 138 Main Street (Map R41, Lot 42B), 140 Main Street (Map R41, Lot 42), and Off I-95 (Map R42, Lot 13), as shown on the plan entitled “Special Permit Application, 2,795.580 kW DC STC Rated Solar Electric System, 136 Main Street, Newbury, MA 01922," dated July 3, 2014, revised through February 24, 2015, and described in supporting documents, prepared by Borrego Solar.  Applicant: Borrego Solar Systems, Inc., 1115 Lowell Road, 2nd Floor, Lowell, MA  01851, Owners of Record: Ruth Yesair, P.O. Box 929, Byfield, MA  01922, and Kavy Yesair, Trustee, 138 Main Street, Byfield, MA  01922.  The Applications are on file for review during regular business hours with the Town Clerk and in the Selectmen’s Office, 25 High Road, Newbury, MA.  For more information contact the Selectmen’s Office at 978-465-0862, ext. 302.  All persons interested or wishing to be heard relative to the proposed project should appear at the time and place designated above.
