BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
April 28, 2015 – Minutes Accepted 7/28/2015
Chair Steve Fram opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. Present were Board Members Alba Gouldthorpe, Elaine Byrne, and Health Agent Deborah Rogers.
8 Fairview Ave – Bob Grasso requested the following variance for 8 Fairview Avenue. A Reduction in groundwater separation to the bottom of the soil absorption system from the 5’ required using a Presby treatment system to the 3’provided. It was moved by Alba Gouldthorpe to approve the variances as written; it was seconded by Steve Fram and voted unanimously.
9 River Street – Bob Grasso requested the following variances for 9 River Street. 1). A Reduction in groundwater separation to the bottom of the soil absorption system from the 4’ required using a Presby treatment system to the 2’provided. 2). to allow the percolation test to be sent out using the soil analysis report because the soils were too wet. 3). to allow the leach area over dig from the 5’ required to the 4’ provided because of the lot size restricts. 4). the property line setback from the 10’ required from the leach field to the 6’ provided (the certified mail receipt was submitted, for the direct abutter). In addition, the water line will need to be re-located and double sleeved. The additional variance that will be required is the distance between the septic system and the waterline
which the exact measurements will be noted on the asbuilt after the construction of the proposed septic system. It was moved by Elaine Byrne to approve the variances as written on the proposed septic design and noted above; it was seconded by Alba Gouldthorpe and voted unanimously.
MINUTES OF MEETING- It was moved by Alba Gouldthorpe to approve the minutes, for the March 24, 2015 meeting. The motion was seconded by Steve Fram and voted unanimously.
The next meeting of the Board of Health will be on May 21, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
