BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
October 29, 2013
Chair Steve Fram opened the meeting at 6:03 p.m. Present were Alba Gouldthorpe, Health Agent Deborah Rogers, and Health Inspector Virginia Bacon. Board Member Elaine Byrne was absent.
MINUTES OF MEETING- It was moved by Alba Gouldthorpe to approve the minutes for September 24, 2013 as written; it was seconded by Steve Fram and voted unanimously.
110 HAY STREET – Jim Scanlon requested the following variances: 1.) Depth to groundwater from 4’ required to 3’ provided. 2.) The minimum of 12” separation from the estimated seasonal high ground water and the inlet/outlet invert to 1” provided with a rubber boot. 3.) One deep hole within the area and a second deep hole during construction. It was moved by Alba Gouldthorpe to approve the variances as submitted; it was seconded by Steve Fram and voted unanimously.
26 RIVERVIEW DRIVE – Bob Grasso from Engineering Land Services requested the following variances: 1.) Reduction in groundwater separation to bottom of soil absorption system from 5’ required to 3’ provided. 2.) Grading the toe of the slope to the property line from the 5’ required to the 2’ provided. It was moved by Alba Gouldthorpe to approve the variances as submitted; it was seconded by Steve Fram and voted unanimously.
18 SEAVIEW LANE-Bob Grasso from Engineering Land Services, requested the following variance: 1.) Reduction in groundwater separation to bottom of soil absorption system from 4’ to 3’ provided. It was moved by Alba Gouldthorpe to approve the variance; it was seconded by Steve Fram and voted unanimously.
The next meeting of the Board of Health will be on December 10, 2013 at
6:00 p.m.
