November 17, 2015               Open Session Meeting Minutes   


Present:  Chairman Kelley, Mr. Wechsler, Principal Assessor M. Branciforte
                
  • The meeting opened at 6:08 p.m.  
  • FY16 Overlay review with Town Administrator Tracy Blais.  Our Overlay for this fiscal year is $191,060.08.  Per Town Administrator Blais, going into a triennial certification year with a solid overlay is a good idea.  
  • FY17 Chapter Land 61A and 61B applications were reviewed and voted/denied accordingly.
  • Minutes from the November 3, 2015 Open and Executive Meeting sessions were reviewed and accepted.
  • Update on Patriot Properties data collection and cyclical inspections discussion.  Five N/C were missed by the data collectors this summer.  Per Principal Assessor Branciforte discussion with Mark Harrell, one of the principals of Patriot Properties, he believes it to be a software issue or human error.  Data will be collected in November right after Thanksgiving and revised bills will be mailed out right after January 1.  Pictures will also be taken by the Patriot Properties data collectors as well.  
  • Next BOA meeting date is scheduled for December, 2015 at 6:00PM.
  • At 6:40 p.m. Chairman Kelley motioned to adjourn the open session and enter executive session.   Mr. Wechsler seconded the motion.  The following roll call vote was taken:
Chairman Kelley - yes           Mr. Wechsler - yes
