Cemetery Trustees Meeting
September 21, 2009
In Attendance:
Tom Mason
Michele Kendrick
Joan Martin
The meeting started at approximately 7:05 PM.
The budget was discussed and set for 2010. $2000 was assigned for Cemetery
Opening of Graves due to the increase of burials. The families reimburse this money. $250 was assigned for electricity and $1,500 was assigned for cemetery supplies including soil treatments, a leaf blower and soil testing.
Mark Fuller will be asked to blow out the water lines in the cemetery before the
ground freezes.
It was decided that a reminder to plot owners be placed in the annual letter to
update information on their deeds and we ask families to care for the older stones
that are leaning. The families will also need to remove weeds that are covering the flat style markers.
A request will be made to add $2000. to the Capital Improvement Plan for paving
the driveway and expanding the sprinkler system into Section C.
The Powers situation was discussed and it was decided that further action would
be taken when previously given information is taken under advisement and we
are notified of a decision.
The meeting ended at 8:00 PM.
