Advisory CIP Committee Meeting

The Committee began the meeting with a discussion of the CRF recommendations. The Highway Department requested less for each of the capital reserve funds associated with that Department. The committee realizes that the departments are being mindful of the budget, but it is the charge of the committee to accurately project the full value of the Capital Projects. The committee decided to keep their recommendations intact.
The committee reviewed each Department spreadsheet, and adjusted projected payments for each CIP schedule. This is to compensate for the cuts made to the CRF’s last year. It was stated that every time we cut the CRF’s, the schedules fall further behind.
The committee then reviewed the darft CIP narrative. They recommended several edits. The final revisions will be sent out to the committee on Friday, and any changes will be made and resubmitted to the committee before their next meeting on Wednesday, October 3rd at 6:30PM.
The committee then reviewed past minutes.
Motion by Scott Drummey to accept the minutes of October 13th, 2010 as amended, seconded by Tom Goss. 4-0 with 1 abstention.
