The Committee welcomed new member Susan Clay and alternate member Kevin St. John.
The primary purpose was to review the six recommendations developed at the March 25 meeting and re-affirm agreement with them. (Please see the March 25 Minutes for the recommendations.)
A secondary purpose was to continue discussion on Joe Constance’s proposal concerning the management of the Transfer Station to maintain a pre-established range of revenues versus the tax dollar budget.
The group reconfirmed their support of the six recommendations. They will be presented at the next Selectmen’s Meeting (April 21).
Despite a lot of discussion, no consensus was reached on Joe’s proposal. It was recommended that Joe present it at the Selectmen’s meeting for their consideration.
