        Budget 2012
        Progress of School Recycling Program
        Discussion of Paper Recycling

Budget 2012:

Gerry announced that the 2012 budget was decreased from the previous year by $17,000. Committee was extremely pleased and gave credit to his hard work and team effort.  He pointed out a future purchase of a trailer was required to store increased recycling items.

A cover for the demolition containers would be necessary to keep demolition material dry. By reducing water content and reducing demolition material weight would reduce subsequent drop off fees and achieve savings for the town. Committee voted in favor of His proposal.

 An addition of an Intelligent Fire panel would be studied and presented in the near future. Committee voted in favor of His proposal.

Gerry informed the group that Protective Clothing would be necessary for the employees to prevent toxic substance buildup on their personal clothing. Committee voted in favor of His proposal.

Gerry indicated Hazardous Waste would probably be incorporated with the Goffstown program, substantial savings will be realized, details will follow shortly.

School Recycle Program:

School recycling program is doing quite well, recreational department not using dumpster, not affecting school numbers. Gerry will present an overview at the school on November 18th @ 2:30 pm. All are welcome. Truck is running well, vandals cracked a few truck windows. Truck security is being investigated and will be made available shortly.

Paper Recycling;

December Traffic Load:
