Minutes for January 19:
Meeting attended by Ken Clinton, Mary Koon, Bob Todd, Ken Lombard, Pete Moloney and guest Ian McSweeney.
The prime topic was the land offered for sale by the Thibeault Corp.~ We discussed it from and Open Space point of view, in which it would provide a corridor between lands currently under Forest Society control.~ We also looked at the potential for some of the land to be used for future Town infrastructure needs for Rec., Fire, School, and Highway.~ We recommended that an All Boards meeting be held to discuss this.~ Also recommended was contact with the Forest Society.
We also discussed the Open Space Plan which is stalled because of my needing to look at the appendices (I said I would do it and have not got to it yet).
Next meeting;
To be held Monday the 16th at Town Hall at 7:30.
We will discuss the Thibeault offering, and the Lorden properties, map 12, lots 19 and 96.
Currently~ we have about $310K in our Open Space fund.
