NEW BOSTON FORESTRY COMMITTEE
Minutes of Meeting – December 7, 2009

ATTENDEES:  Tim Trimbur, Dave Allen, Karl Heafield, Nancy Loddengaard , Kim DiPietro

The meeting was called to order at 7:15 pm.
~
REVIEW OF SEPTEMBER MINUTES:  Minutes approved as written.
~
REVIEW OF OCTOBER MINUTES:  Approved as written.
~
REVIEW OF NOVEMBER MINUTES:  To review when Tom Miller present.
~
TREAURER’S REPORT:  $11,198.57  (Minus $25 wetlands permit.)

OLD BUSINESS

Johnson Lot- no activity
~
Lydia Dodge West
    Bridge Construction:  KimDiPietro reported once wetlands permit sent in and no response heard that it is ok to proceed.  Tim Trimbur reported the lot is very wet, and building on hold until gravel can get in.  Tom Miller reports that most of the bridge wood is cut.  Kim noticed the sign had been move, and Tim reported it was moved to allow equipment to get in.
   Cut:  Durgin & Crowell will offer same contract as last year of $300 per 1000 board feet for the pine.  Tim will update the contract, and is hoping to complete the cut this year.

   Karl Heafield to prepare draft and bring to next meeting.  Dave Allen to do financial report.

Intents to Cut
    None today.

Cord Wood
  Tim Trimbur to talk to Burton Reynolds about offering cord wood from Lydia Dodge West cut to people in need.  He also mentioned possibility of raffling off a grapple load of wood at the fair.
