NEW BOSTON FORESTRY COMMITTEE
Minutes of Meeting – November 15, 2009
ATTENDEES: Tim Trimbur, Tom Miller, Nancy Loddengaard
Karl Heafield was unable to attend.
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm.
SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER MINUTES were passed out, but there were not enough attendees to vote.
NEW BUSINESS
Lydia Dodge Lot
Tom Miller reports that most of the wood is sawed out for the bridge. Most of the decking is complete. He needs galvanized spikes to prevent rusting. Tim to pick up about 150 of the spikes.
Tim Trimbur reports that he will arrange a purchase agreement with Durgin & Crowell for the pine on the Lydia Dodge Lot. He will need a purchase agreement from Tom Miller for the hemlock for the bridge. Tom agreed to work on that. Tim will call the members to get approval for the purchase agreements.
Intents to Cut
There were three to review. The Forester will be contacted to check on one of the cuts as the proposed cut appeared to be overestimated.
Steward Reports
These are due for the December meeting.
