NEW BOSTON FORESTRY COMMITTEE 
Minutes of Meeting – September 15, 2009 
 
  
ATTENDEES:  Karl Heafield, Tom Miller, Dave Allen, Nancy Loddengaard 
     Tom Lazott, Tim Trimbur, and Kim DePietro were unable to attend. 
  
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm. 
  
JUNE MINUTES:  None as yet. 
  
REVIEW OF MAY MINUTES:  Approved with correction of treasurer’s amount. 
  
TREASURER’S REPORT:  $11,223.57 
  
OLD BUSINESS 
  
Johnson Lot – to be discussed next meeting 
  
Trail Maps – no update 
  
Sherburne Lot  
During the meeting in June, they walked around the whole property.  There is no marketable timber or saw logs in the foreseeable future.  A timber lot improvement or cutting for recreation use, trails, or just leaving it for wildlife could all be considered. 
  
NEW BUSINESS 
  
Lydia Dodge Lot 
 The plans and application for Wetlands Crossing were reviewed.  Tom Miller provided drawing and specs.  Kim to be the contact person.  All approved the application to be sent in. 
The timber market is not so good at present, and the biomass market is diminished. 
  
Intents to Cut                                                                             
Karl Heafield reported that Tim Trimbur had reviewed a few – no concerns noted. 
  
Steward Reports 
These are due in the fall
