Minutes of April 2, 2007: not available

Old Business
1.      Lydia Dodge Patch cut: Bob Todd met with John Ferguson last Thursday and walked the patch cut area and the trail. John flagged the boundaries of the cut. He will mark the timber soon and give Bob the totals (est. 40,000 MBF). They both agreed that the old landing area was adequate, so the logs will be dragged there. This cut will take place in the NW corner of the lot.
2.      Marvell Memorial: Tom Lazott reported on prices for cast bronze plaque, 6” x 9”, 160 characters @ $300. The committee looked at several examples of wording for the plaque. Kim D. to speak with Mrs. Marvell about plaque. Tom L. & Dave A. to work together on getting the correct sizing to fit the granite. Dave A. estimates a cost of $200 to install the plaque and transport granite to location. Forestry volunteers will dig hole to place granite. Estimate $500 total plus cost of epoxy.

4.      Trail Maps: Tom L. still working on how to do it.
