TREASURER’S REPORT:~ $1363.78

OLD BUSINESS

Beaver Deceiver
~~~ Karl Heafield reported that Tim Trimbur informed him that the level of the pond is now dropping.~ He will continue to moniter the progress, but there appears to be no need for a larger device.
Lydia Dodge Patch Cut
~~~ Karl Heafield reported that Tim Trimbur said the market for white pine is still soft, but he would like the trees to be marked so when the time is right, he can go and cut them.~ Karl will contact John Ferguson about marking the trees.~ Jon Brooks, Karl, and Tim will try to set a meeting with John to go over the Stewards plan for the cut, and to be sure he is respectful of the trail that goes through the lot.

New Hampshire Owner’s Association
~~~ Karl Heafield passed out a “market pulse” from NHTOA.~ He will share a copy quarterly.~ Bob Todd reported that the Division of Revenue Administration also has this type of information, and it may be worth comparing the numbers.
Stewards Reports
~~~ Karl Heafield completed the Sherburne report.~ There is nothing urgent to work on at present, and the town appears to be reclaiming the areas that they have finished taking sand from.
~~~~ Karl and Tom Lazott also completed the Marvel Easement Review.~ They were unable to find some of the boundary marks, but the boundaries are still discernable at this point.~ They posted signs that Dave Saeger had requested be put up. The red pine that had blown down in a storm had been harvested.
~~~ Bob Todd after consulting with Jon Brooks about his trail maintenance hours with Bob Macentee completed the report on the Lydia Dodge Lot West.
~~~ Karl requested that the other reports be in by the next meeting.
O’Rourke Lot
~~~ No trees have been cut as yet.
Johnson Lot
~~~ No change as yet in ownership of the lot next door.~ Dave Allen reported some thinning could be done on the lot.
NEW BUSINESS
Potential Rough Lumber Sale
~~~ Karl Heafield spoke to Tom Miller, and looked into options, costs, and amount of work.~ The committee felt this was not a cost effective option.~ Will wait for the patch cut before buying any signs.

Intents to Cut:~ None

Town Use of Lumber from the Town Forest
~~~ Karl Heafield said Burton Reynolds had asked him to bring up the question of using lumber from the Town Forests for Town projects.~ The committee felt this could be reviewed on a case by case basis.
NEXT MEETING:~ December 4, 2006
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
