There will be some fill required to the Class 6 Rd. that leads to the staging site on the west side of the parcel.

It was discussed by the CC to hire a company that had bucket trucks to remove limbs and trees that were on the parcel and could pose threat to a house that it is surrounded by the parcel.  Price to be determined after investigation with some arborist’s in the area.

Betsey was going to make sure that all the revenue realized from the Middle Branch forest management was going to be available to NBCC.

The River Trail needs to have some maintenance work performed.  It includes some tree and stump removal.  An evaluation of needs will be compiled and presented to CC.  Schedule and crew will be determined at later date.

Mill Pond area needs some trees removed.  Betsey will investigate the use of horses or cutting into manageable sections for removal by hand.

Trail Maintenance The NBCS is forming a hiking program with Jen and Jackie Moulton.  They will be assisted by Immo Christoff.  They will be learning the skills necessary for trail maintenance at the school trail and could be available to help with trails in town.  It was suggested the NBCC pay for bus transportation to areas here in town.

CC Parcel Signage Kim got samples of signage created by the people who own the Joe English Stonage LLC.  We were going to see if we could set up a date to show them what had been done at the Mill Pond and get them to give us a quote for signage for the other parcels plus some other trail signs.

Respectfully submitted,
Burr Tupper
