OLD BUSINESS

Beard Rd. TM5/52 & 5/50 Rightway Builders: Abutter Tom Clapp visited Betsey at her home to express his concerns about drainage from this development onto his property. Betsey advised him to describe his situation in a letter to the Board of Selectmen and the Planning Board, and shared the letter with the Commission.
LWC article Goffstown News: NBCC has concerns about the committee’s expressed plan to widen the railroad trail for use by wheeled vehicles. Since the grant has not yet been awarded, the NBCC will wait for further developments and respond as events dictate. A letter from Steve Walker to Sandi Van Scoyoc on the Mill Pond Bridge proposal is on file with a copy sent to the Selectmen by NBCC. The letter lists six conditions, which “must be met as part of the project proposal and implementation.”
New Boston Bulletin article schedule: for Feb. issue—Joe; March---Betsey; April---Cyndie; May---Burr.
Saunders Pasture: Burr Tupper volunteered to write an addendum to the present management plan allowing harrowing of brambles in the lower half of the top field and seeding it with oats.
CC Rep to Planning Board: Selectmen’s response to Cyndie’s letter was reviewed. Neither board believes that a CC member should be a member of the PB. NBCC’s response will agree to a CC member being present and recognized at relevant Planning Board meetings, and to PB agendas being emailed to Burr and Cyndie.
Annual CC Report to Town Report: Draft was reviewed and revisions will by made by Betsey and Joe.
Mill Pond Sign:  The design is complete.
