A. Called to Order at 16:33 p.m.
Approve minutes from April 8, 2014 meeting. Motion by to Moore approve as written, second by Bromage. Motion carried.
C. New Business
- Jackie Hewett signs and the Bowdoin visit. Jackie Hewett was unable to attend meeting.
- D. General Issue
E Old Business
1. Scott Planting, Dennis Damon, Jill Goldthwait and Mike Johnson attending from Maine Seacoast mission. Discussssion of Marina usage and location of the Sunbeam. Scott Planting does not recall conversation with Town Manager, Chairman Savage and Harbor Master. Committee restates previous discussions on the matter and asks again for assistance with helping create more access to the working waterfront. Captain Johnson acknowledges that a problem exists and is willing to continue working with the Harbor Master on this matter.
Motion by Moore for the Harbor Master to look into adding dockage for larger displacement vessels on the end of the north dock. Second by Bright. Motion Carried.
2. Winter rates discussed
Motion by Savage for following winter rate changes; resident under 45ft. $150, non-resident under 45ft. $250, over 45ft. resident $190, over 45 non-resident $275, electric rate of $120 per month for all winter slip rentals. Second by Fernald. Motion carried.
3. Picnic tables
New picnic tables are here and waiting to be stained before usage.
F. Discussions
Line painting for loading zones on both north and south docks to be completed this spring by public works.
Marina operations discussed.
G. Adjournment
Motion by Savage, second by Black. Motion carried, adjournment at 1856.
