TRUSTEES MEETING
MOUNT DESERT ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY

The Mount Desert Island Regional School District Trustees held a meeting on 24 September 2009 with
the following members present: Ed Bonville, Bob Webber, Steve Hudson, Eric Henry, Shelley Mitchell,
Marilyn Moore and Mike Musetti.
Others present: Rob Liebow, Matthew Garrity-Janger, Butch Bracy and Mary Wallace.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Ed Bonville at 7:00 p.m.
VOUCHER
A voucher was circulated for approval.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOVED by Bob Webber, seconded by Eric Henry and unanimously voted to approve the minutes of the
31 August 2009 meeting as presented.

None
DISCUSSION ITEMS
UPDATE ON ROOF PROJECT
Matthew Garrity-Janger and Butch Bracy reported that the job is progressing well and is on schedule.
New signage over the main office is a part of the roof renovation project. Ed Bonville will talk with
people at Mohr Signs regarding lettering suggestions for this sign.
MAINTENANCE PLAN FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
Attendees developed the attached wish list. Butch Bracy will investigate the projected costs of several of
these items and present the information at the next Trustees meeting. At that time items on the list will be
discussed and priorities will be set for 1 Year, 2 Year and 5 Year categories of accomplishment.
PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION REGARDING BUDGET
Matthew Garrity-Janger presented a first draft of the 2010-11 capital outlay budget. More work will be
done on the budget at the next Trustees meeting.
