MINUTES
The Mount Desert Elementary School Committee held a special meeting at the Mount Desert Island Regional High School on Monday, March 9, 2009 with the following members present: Gail Marshall, Brian Reilly, Charlie Wray, Laura Hendricks

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:08 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: DISCUSSION OF CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
MOVED by Charlie Wray, seconded by Laura Hendricks and unanimously voted to enter executive session at 6:08 p.m. for the purpose of discussing contract negotiations pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(D).
The board came out of executive session at 6:55 p.m.
ACTION ITEMS
Ratification of Common Contract
The board did not ratify the contract at this time.
Possible Acceptance of Fuel Oil Bid
MOVED by Charlie Wray, seconded by Gail Marshall and unanimously voted to authorize the Superintendent of Schools to commit to purchase 20,000 gallons of heating oil from No Frills Oil at a price not to exceed $2.50 per gallon for the 2009-2010 heating season.
ADJOURNMENT
MOVED by Gail Marshall, seconded by Laura Hendricks and unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 7:08 p.m.
