MINUTES
The Mount Desert School Committee held a special meeting at the Mount Desert Island Regional High School on January 12, 2009 with the following members present:
Chairman Heather Jones, Brian Reilly, Gail Marshall, Charles Wray, and Laura Hendricks.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:34 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: DISCUSSION OF CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
MOVED by Charles Wray, seconded by Brian Reilly and unanimously voted to enter executive session at 6:34 p.m. for the purpose of discussing contract negotiations pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(A).
The board came out of executive session at 6:47 p.m.
ACTION ITEM
Approval of Addendum to 2006-2009 Collective Bargaining Agreement for Proposed Retirement Incentive
MOVED by Brian Reilly, seconded by Charles Wray and unanimously voted to approve the addendum to the 2006-2009 Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding a one-time retirement incentive.
ADJOURNMENT
MOVED by Brian Reilly, seconded by Gail Marshall and unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 6:48 p.m.
