HAULING OF MSW
OPERATION OF TRANSFER STATION
TOWN OF MONTEREY

The Town of Monterey, through its Selectboard, will accept bids for the operation of its Transfer Station and for the hauling of its Municipal Solid Waste and other materials, to the appropriate destination. The contract will be awarded for the period of July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, with an option to extend the contract for 2 additional years.  A bid package can be obtained by contacting the Interdepartmental Secretary for the Town of Monterey, at 435 Main Road, PO Box 308, Monterey, MA. 01245. Phone-413-528-1443. Bids will be opened at 5:30pm on Monday June 13, 2011. No bids will be accepted after this time. The Selectboard reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Monterey.
