For Sale by Sealed Bid
1993 Mack Truck and Related Equipment
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Monterey will accept bids for the sale of the following surplus equipment.
1993 Mack Truck, Single axle, 10’ dump body, stainless steel sander, CompuSpread computer, central hydraulics, 11’snowplow
MINIMUM BID: $12,000
Specifications and an appointment to view truck can be made by calling Maynard Forbes, Director of Operations, 413-528-1734.
Bids will be accepted at the Monterey Town Hall, Monterey Grange #291, 435 Main Road, PO Box 308, Monterey MA. 01245 until 4:00pm, Monday, March 9, 2009. A statement of non-collusion must accompany bid. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Mack Truck Bid”. A deposit of 10% of bid must accompany bid. Winning bidder shall have 14 days from bid opening to take delivery of truck and all equipment. Balance of payment shall be made on delivery and shall be by certified check, payable to the Town of Monterey.
Bid Opening on March 9, 2009 at 4:00pm at the Monterey Town Hall, Selectboard Office. The Selectboard reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Monterey.
