ZBA Administrative Minutes
Date: 1/19/11- Administrative
Hearing began at: 2:42pm
Members Present: Robert Lazzarini, Chair, Dean Amidon, Clerk, Cynthia Weber, Stanley Ross and Fred Chapman arrived at 2:55pm
- ZBA appointment to fill vacancy. Bob reiterated that it was voted at the last meeting that the ZBA was not going to make a recommendation to the Select Board. The Select Board then told Melissa Noe to place an ad in the paper looking for interested parties to fill the position which would be interviewed by the ZBA and the appointment made by the Select Board. A motion was made to rescind the previous vote and interview the candidates that apply and make a recommendation to the Board. Stanley stated that he has an appointment with the Select Board on Monday at 7pm to apply for the position. The motion was withdrawn. Another motion was made to recommend Stanley Ross to the position and note that no further interviews will be held by the ZBA. The motion was seconded and unanimously
approved.
- Robert Lazzarini stated that he has spoken with Mark Bobrowski about representing the ZBA in any cases seeing as town counsel represents the town as a whole. Bob stated that in the matter that the Board will be meeting on next, Mark has advised Bob that since there isn’t a building proposed it is a matter of right and therefore a special permit is not necessary.
- Bob stated that his term as chair will be up in May and Fred is up next, he asked that Fred join him and the others in working with Mark Bobrowski in helping to revise the town’s bylaws. Fred agreed.
