Minutes of the meeting of 7/8/14
Meeting Opened at: 4pm
Select Board Members Present: Wayne Burkhart, Chairperson, Scott Jenssen and Kenn Basler
Also in attendance for parts of the meeting: Jacob Edelman for the Monterey News, Robert Lazzarini, Roger Tryon, Steve Weisz, Michael Banner, Gareth Backhaus, Maynard Forbes, Tim Carson and Shawn Tryon
From 4 – 4:30pm the Board interviewed Tim Carson for the Director of Operations position. The resume review group and the Board discussed how they felt the interview went and how they feel about Tim as an applicant.
From 4:45 – 5:30pm the Board interviewed Shawn Tryon for the Director of Operations position. The resume review group and the Board discussed how they felt the interview went and how they feel about Shawn as an applicant.
The Board and review group tonight’s candidates’ pros and cons and on Thursday at 3pm all candidates will be reviewed and arguments will be made for the best candidate.
Miscellaneous Select Board Items Reviewed:
1. The minutes from 6/30/14 were approved with minor amendments.
