Public Present: Rob Ackroyd of Greylock Design, Cynthia Webber and Jerri Shapiro of the Wilson McLaughlin House Committee as well as Joe Baker.
- Hill Engineering had no further input regarding the subdivision plans.
- Cindy will have a folder filed with all papers regarding the subdivision at the town hall.
- Rob Ackroyd will make the appropriate copies at the end of the 20 day appeal period and then the members of the board will sign.
- Maggie made a motion to approve the Definitive plans as amended, Alan seconded and the board unanimously approved.
- The McLaughlin House Committee has submitted a special building permit application for the property on behalf of the Town. Cindy recused herself due to the fact that her husband is doing some work for the project.
- Although municipal use is by right in that area the committee felt that a special permit would be needed eventually. The building permit was turned down due to the change in use of the building from residential to business. The committee would like municipal use for the entire property.
- The main floor will be renovated from residential to business. There will be 40 parking spaces. There will be structural repairs to the foundation and the basement. There is the possibility for one or two offices for rental use. The max occupancy will be 49.
- The committee is planning to do it as green as possible. The estimated cost of the project is $ 87,500.
- The board will make an official recommendation on August 13th.
- The board received the zoning bylaw changes decision back from the District Attorney’s office. Article #6 the common driveway bylaw was accepted with one sentence deleted from section 71.H
