Planning Board Meeting Minutes July 10th 2008
Members Present: Co-chair Brian Puntin; Alan Salaman; Maggie Leonard; Stephen Rose and John Sellew
Meeting to order: 7:05
· Board opened mail: Nathaniel Corrence head of Berkshire Regional Planning wants to know if the Planning Board is going to honor their contract. Is the planning board going to pay for 2008? Brian inquired as the whether there was a bill or not. Alan will call and ask for an invoice. The board will extend their contract through June of 2008 for billing purposes.
· Previous meeting minutes: The meeting minutes from June 26th were passed contingent on a slight revision.
· Master Plan: Maggie will talk with surrounding town planning board members who have successfully completed a master plan. Maggie will discuss their opinions on the benefits of a master plan and how much work it was to complete.
· Common Wealth Capitol Grant: Brian will complete this grant for the Planning Board.
· Affordable Housing: The board discussed various opinions and options for affordable housing. The board also discussed how accessory dwelling units played a part in affordable housing.
· Meeting adjourned: 8:00 P.M.
