Minutes for the December meeting were approved.
Annual Report
The Parks Commission Annual Report for the fiscal year 7/1/15- 6/30/16 will be
written by Peter. The report is due 12/31/17.
Beach
There will be a 5% increase in the Lifeguard contract as of 7/1/17.
The Parks Commission has agreed to purchase the items recommended by the
lifeguards for this summer. Kelly will contact Mark Makuc. Re: swim area ropes
Skating Party
The Skating Party will be held on Presidents Day, 2/20/17 from 1-4 PM
Kelly will put an ad in the Monterey News.
Gary will arrange for the DJ, Hot Chocolate and Donuts.
Julio will get the Hot Dogs, Buns, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish and Napkins
Kelly will bring the Trash Can and garbage bags
Gary will bring- 2 Tables and the George Forman Grill to cook the dogs.
Rink
A goal insert was stolen from the rink. No leads yet.
Budget for Next FY
The Parks Commission will submit a budget with a requested 5% increase as per Berkshire South.
Basketball Court
When the snow melts, the Parks Commission will re-evaluate the Jamie’s Court surface.
Berkshire Fence will be called to do maintenance on the fence and gate.
