Monterey Parks Commission

Present- Gary, Kelly, Josh, Anjelica, Julio
Minutes for the Parks Commission December 3,2014 were approved as written.
Jamie's Court- Kelly met with Shawn today. Will cost $11,000 to pave . With other costs (Grading, fence $5,000 etc) the recent costs comes to $13,200. Total $ for the project, $53,000. Kelly, and others on the Parks Commission, will go to the upcoming Special Town meeting to ask for the additional money. Kelly will check with the town's insurance company to see if the fence is mandated.
Skating Party- Rink has some boards rotting . It will cost $750 for the lumber. This will go on next year's budget. The party will be on February16, 2015 1-3 PM. Gary has the soda and water left over from the movie night He will bring the soda and water in coolers. Kelly will work on getting a tent donated.. DJ Drew will be asked to provide DJ services again. Chili Cookoff- Josh will get the awards. . Advertising- Kelly will put an Ad in the Monterey News. Kelly will ask, Christine Martin, Ken Bassler and someone from the fire Dept. to be judges.
