Minutes for the 11/2011 Parks Commission were approved as written.
Rink
- Rink went up 11/26 9:30AM
- Josh to check skating schedule with Steve. We are anticipating the same schedules as last year.
- Gary got Coffee and Doughnuts for the volunteers, and cleaned up afterwards.
- Bettina to check w/ Kenver Ltd. about a skate sharpening day.
Bench for Town Beach
- Ira Transport has expressed an interest in donating a bench for the Monterey Town Beach
- Josh will supply websites for Ira to order the bench
- Ira will order the bench
- When it is delivered we will have it installed by Rick M. in the Spring.
Zumba Classes
- Taking place at firehouse. Privately paid by participants.
- In Otis and Tyringham, the Parks Commission pays for residents
- Bettina will follow-up, to see if we might want to provide the service for Monterey residents.
Budget
- Zumba- Approx. $3,500
- 2 Picnic Tables for Ball Field- approx. $2,500
- Repairs to Lifeguard Shack.
- Movie Night- $1,800
- Skating Party- Cost minimal: Hot Dogs, Buns, Condiments, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Candy, Soda
