The May meeting minutes were approved as written
Town Beach
- Emily Shaw , Alyssia Palmer, Jake Raifstanger and Daryl; lifeguards interested in working at lake Garfield this summer attended the meeting. Gabe Ibanez did not attend, but is interested in lifeguarding also.
- Emily will establish a schedule for the guards.
- Emily will write up a new manual to be used by the lifeguards.
- The beach will open full time beginning 6/23.
- New floats were ordered and will be put in the water prior to swim season.
- Handicapped Porta potty will serves as bathroom/changing room
- Phone at the beach continues to be operational.
Ball Field
- Rick Mielke completed a Spring Cleanup of Greene Park prior to the beginning of the Cal Ripkin Baseball season.
- Porta potty delivered and operational
Movies
- Suggestions- Escape To Witch Mountain, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ET, The Princess Bride, Toy Story
- Movie night 8/6
- Josh put movie suggestions into the Monterey News.
- There have been no votes up to this point.
Other
- Bettina will check the Parks Department answering machine
