The January Meeting minutes were approved as written
Membership: Emily Johnson was approved by the select board as a member of the Parks Commission. Welcome Emily!
Budget: Josh increased the Parks Commission budget request by 5%
Skating Rink:
- The heater for the skating rink hater was installed. It is currently working well.
Skating Party- 2/21 1-3PM
- Music- Mike Johnson will bring the music and the Town’s sound system
- Food- Jessica (Food should be delivered by 12:30)
- Staffing- Gary, Jessica, Mike (Maybe Emily also)
- Garbage cans and liners: Josh will drop them off prior to the party
- Clean-up: Gary and Mike
- Posters- Josh
Gift-
$250 was received from the Germain Family to the Parks Commission, mentioning how much they enjoy the skating rink. Josh gave the check to Melissa.
Dog Park Bylaw:
Language is being worked on for presentation at the next Parks Commission meeting, which will be a special hearing, on March 2, 2011.
