The August minutes were approved as written.
Mass Ethics Commission
- Parks Commission Members must complete forms, print them, and send them to the Town Clerk.
- Mass.gov/online training, and implementation procedures
Beach Issues:
- The date for the beach ropes to come down will be any time after 9/20. Josh to notify Marc.
- Lakefest- Friends of Lake Garfield needs to provide extra Trash Receptacles
- Josh will order Trash Bags for the Big Belly receptacle
- Josh will order new ropes for the beach for next year.
Greene Park
- Josh to hire Rick Mielke to repair swings in Greene Park. The equipment has been delivered to Town Hall.
- Rick will replace the Bark Mulch under the swings by the Spring of 2011
- Bettina to speak to Valerie Zantay and Dianna Piepho about end caps for benches at the park.
Halloween
- Coordinate with the Monterey Library
- Parks Commission will fund the entertainment at the Library
- Parks Commission will provide candy after the entertainment
- Josh will Coordinate Advertising for the party with Marc
Storage
- Parks Commission would like storage space in town hall.
Movie Night:
- People loved the Second Annual Monterey Movie Night
- 150 people attended
- In April 2011, we will run an ad in the Monterey News asking people for movie suggestions for the summer 2011 movie.
