Parks Department meeting
In attendance Josh Allentuck, Valerie Zantay, Gary Shaw, Diana Piepho
The commission approved the minutes from both Jan. meetings.
Budget was submitted on time.
Mowing contract was drawn up and will be advertised in Shopper’s Guide and Berkshire Eagle.
Site meeting for the mowing bid will be May 22, 2010, and bids are due June 2 at 9:00am.
Skating party is planned for Feb. 15 Monday 1-3 food and music.
Diane will order food
Valerie will bring music.
Yearly calendar/agenda of what the commission does was distributed and will be reviewed by members.
Committee has decided to delegate out the major responsibilities while still having a chair that reports to the town. Josh would like to handle the bills.
Other areas are the beach, the rink, Greene Park, minutes.
