Parks Commission Meeting: 11-07-2007
· Rent for the Pavilion- Ice skate Rink is $1250. We will take it over on November 15th- April 15th.
· Valerie will call to have it set up. The usual volunteers are willing to help us out again.
· Nathan Brazie covered the lake for Kelly on 8/26 but our records indicate we already have other lifeguards booked for that time. We will be double paying if we pay them again. Kelly needs to pay for one day. On 8/26 Nathan was by himself. We will cut him a vendor check and Kelly will in turn pay us one day pay at $12.00 per hour.
· Bill Eddy from the “big belly” company will get in touch with Bridget to discuss monthly maintenance. It was obvious that there would be some work in the winter but the bulk of it would take place during the towns busy summer months.
· Diana is going to look into getting plastic coating for the existing playground equipment.
· The ice rink schedule info will be put in the Monterey news as well as information on an ice skating party.
