Leroy began the meeting –Ray Tryon can excavate the swimming area after draw down for $2000.00
David asked if Friends of Lake Garfield bears any financial responsibility for the beach..
No - just a load of sand for Lakefest.
Jim - questioned budget. Do we have enough?
The topic of the street light at the town hall came up. Michelle (Miller?) Is looking into a grant for a solar light.
We have a possible donation of a Flat Bottom Boat for the lifeguards. Leroy is going to check it out.
Leroy said that Coffee Club will do the Hay Ride and do we want to sponsor it at no cost.
Valerie questioned the electric bill at he rink. We should ask to see the meter reading.
Jim said that Perry did not do the ball field, but Leroy disagreed. No bill was sent by Perry. Jim said that they still won’t return his phone class and the should not be paid for work not done.
It was agreed to leave the porta potties at the Beach a while longer.
David made a motion to adjourn. Valerie seconded.
