Monterey Council on Aging
Minutes of November 28, 2016
The meeting opened at 10 am. An agenda was not posted for this meeting so no decisions can be made. Present: N. Champigny, R. Champigny, K. Purcell and J. Rodriguez.
Discussion continued about a trip to the Scallop Festival in September, 2017. Should the trip be on Friday, Saturday or Sunday? King Ward Bus has given us good service before. Our contact was Matt Gray at 413-593-3939 or matt@kingward.com . The size of the bus can be 48 passengers with a bathroom or 27 without.
Possible computer workshop may be of interest. Staples does have a training person; properly would use our own computers.
Phone calls need more follow-up.
Otis has published a list for all its planned trips. Monterey is welcome to participate. Ralph Gleason’s # is 269-0100 x 107.
The Culinary Department at Mt. Everett School is offering a Holiday Dinner to area seniors on Thursday, December 1st at noon. The bands and chorus will perform. Sheffield CoA , 229- 7037, is handling reservations.
