Monterey Council on Aging
Minutes of July 27, 2016
Meeting opened at 10:20 am with a quorum present: N. Champigny, K. Purcell and J. Rodriguez. Minutes were reviewed and accepted.
Outreach worker has been hired by Great Barrington. Jennifer Bailly is the outreach coordinator and the assistant director of Claire Teague Senior Center.
Health Fair plans reviewed were: time and place, hearing tests, CHP van, veteran affairs and Elder Services. These and others will be contacted and confirmed.
Schedules The Select Board wants the Wednesday morning time slot for the weekly meeting beginning in September. After discussion the council members present voted to meet on Monday mornings beginning September 12th.
Ann Rocchino of Elder Services had requested an appointment to share information about benefit counseling and volunteer opportunities. K.P. will call her to reschedule an alternative September date.
