Monterey Council on Aging
Minutes of April 27, 2016
The meeting was opened at 10 am. Present were N. Champigney, R. Champigney, K. Purcell and J. Rodriguez. L. Hebert was absent. The minutes were accepted.
Budget $100. Deposit to Pittsfield Suns; remainder is $350. for 25 tickets and picnic. No deposit is required by Hill-stead Museum.
Transportation Southern Berkshire Regional School District has 2 vans that the school uses for sport and band events. It has been made available for some events of Sheffield Council on Aging. This council may borrow 1 for Friday, June. 10, 2016. Items to be researched are a driver, insurance (town, school, driver) etc. A possible driver, Ray B. will be contacted.
Hill-stead There is a guide for each group of 15. We’ll keep the museum posted. So far 10 people have expressed interest. If more than 12, a 2nd van will be needed. Wood n Tap Restaurant is confirmed for 20 or more.
Lunch Noon at the Brewery in G.B. following our May 11th meeting. CoA will cover $2. each plus a tip.
