Meeting of January 27, 2016
The meeting was opened at 19 am. N. Champigney, R. Champigney, L. Hebert, K.Purcell and J. Rodriguez were present. The minutes of January 13, 2016 were approved.
Budget – FY17 – An informational letter from SBETC listed $2,422.50 as Monterey’s share to support the bus service. A letter of agreement will be sent in May for an appropriate signature. The commonwealth grant of $4,500. will remain the same. The remainder after SBETC payment will be $2,077.50 for council use. The town allotment has been $2,500. That will be reviewed soon by the Finance Committee for the annual town meeting in May. - FY16 - Total monies available to the council today are $1,700. Lunches, exercises for balance and deposits for trips will use some of this. If possible a computer may be purchased to track activity and resources. Plans after July 1st include ball games, museum visit, Health Fair, an
open house to include emergency preparedness and luncheons with a special focus. - FY16,17,18 – An outreach plan for Great Barrington, Egremont and Monterey councils has been approved by Elder Affairs but the $ amount and the mechanism are unclear.
The Annual Report, July 2014 to June 2015 should be ready within a week.
There was no new business. The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 am.
