Defining “Lake Health” & other public engagement items
Reviewed and submitted of previous meeting (12/12) minutes
Briefly discussed a 319 grant application to potentially fund mitigation of pollutants
Began to explore various fundraising challenges and realities that will arise as lake management activities eventually get underway
Reviewed the mission statement addendum and further discussed the implications of our clarified mission, including their impact on potential NOI recommendations
Reviewed the timeline and weighed some pros and cons associated with the e.mifoil remediation techniques we have researched. The talk quickly shifted toward public involvement in this decision-making process, in light of our clarified mission.
Discussed potential for an open public forum to be held sometime in early spring and will focus on furthering public involvement in making informed decisions regarding “lake health.”
