MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: November 26, 2018
Present: John Makuc, Julio Rodriguez, Roy Carwile and Peter Kolodziej
Also present: Mike Kulig
The meeting began at 4pm
- Mike Kulig of Berkshire Engineering came in with revised septic plans for 10 Phelps Rd with a 2 ft separation and the ie technology which eliminates the property setback variances that were needed with the previous proposal. Prior to a certificate of compliance being issued a valid ie system contract and a 2 bedroom deed restriction will need to be provided to the Board of Health.
- The Board reviewed the fees that surrounding towns charge for permits and raised the following: Well permit application $125, Septic New or Upgrade application $250, Septic repair $75, Perc Witness fee $300, Septage hauler $150 and Septic Installer $100.
- The minutes from 11/5/18 were approved.
- The next meeting will be Monday, December 3rd at 4pm.
