MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

Present: John Makuc, Roy Carwile, Julio Rodriguez and Peter Kolodziej
Also present: John Szablowski, Dustin Collins, Mike Kulig, Maggie Leonard
The meeting began at 4:00pm
1. Representatives of Hume came in to review the plans submitted to the Planning Board for site review (2 proposed new buildings). The Board asked for additional information including but not limited to proposed and current numbers and locations and whether or not Hepzibah Heights is going to remain separate and distinct or part of this plan. They are currently working with DEP with regards to wastewater. There is also an application submitted for a new public water supply with DEP. They are hoping to break ground in April with 9-12 months of construction. The Board did ask if this would increase the noise; Hume will conduct camp while being sensitive to the neighborhood.
2. The Board reviewed plans for a proposed new well for 17 Main Rd. As there are livestock on the property Peter is going to follow up as to why the proposed well isn’t 100ft away and farther north instead of 50ft.
3. FY18 budget request: Same COLA as other employees, lower expenses to $200.
