MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

Present: John Makuc, Roy Carwile, and Peter Kolodziej

The meeting began at 4:00pm
1. The minutes from 6/20/16 were approved.
2. 31 Sackman Way plans: The Board was confused as to what the engineers were looking for with the submission of another set of plans. The Board will resend the letter to the applicant letting them know what items are still needed before a permit can be issued.
3. 24 Lakeside Terr: The Board reviewed the new septic plans submitted and approved it once the missing information has been submitted.
4. Main Rd: The Board reviewed the Canning proposed septic. A narrative was not submitted with the plan and the application was not clear. A letter will be sent to the owner/applicant.
5. 36 Elephant Rock Rd: The title v inspection failed here. This property has 2 structures, one of which is being used as an apartment which is not on file with our Assessor’s Dept. Peter will be drafting a letter to the owner. This property may require a special permit before the Board can sign off on a new septic.
6. Peter had an onsite meeting with Cara Carroll with regards to the food service application for Octoberfest at the Community Center.
7. The Board has not received any updates on Ms. Church of late from the state.
8. KSA: There is a new manager/director who has met with Peter and reviewed the issues to date. They will be squaring up all the outstanding issues well before the camp is scheduled to open.
