MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: July 6, 2015
Present: John Makuc, Roy Carwile, Robert Annelli and Peter Kolodziej
The meeting began at 4pm
1. The minutes from 6/15/15 were approved.
2. The Board discussed the high bacteria count at the town beach; samples were inappropriately taken during a rainstorm which affected the results. Peter contacted the lab. The Board will investigate reduced testing schedule due to past good reports.
3. Violation on Dowd Rd by White Wolf T&E: A letter will be sent to the contractor and homeowner advising them of a hearing on July 20th. The contractor has been previously advised that a permit is needed to haul septage.
4. Peter updated the Board on the inspections at KSA. The dump site that there were concerns about is actually located in Gt. Barrington; Peter will follow up with their Board of Health. The basement was better.
5. The Board reviewed a septic permit application received for 715 Main Rd. Peter is going to review and will respond to Melissa asap.
6. The Board reviewed a well permit application for 34 Main Rd, the documents submitted do not clearly show where the proposed well site is; Peter Kolodziej will follow up with Mike Parsons.
