MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: October 1, 2012
Present: John Makuc, Peter Kolodziej and Stephen Enoch
The meeting began at 4pm
1. Kim Kelly from BHS will be here on November 1st to discuss with the Board the numerous free services they have to offer Monterey with regards to personal health care.
2. The Board reviewed the current situation with the Monterey Water Company and Berkshire Enviro-Labs losing their certification.
3. Peter noted that it would be really helpful to the Town and its elderly residents to have a SHINE representative in Town (services are free, they are volunteers) to help them with the choices/services they have available.
4. The Board discussed Part II of the needs assessment survey to be sent to the residents of Monterey. It was decided to continue working on sample questions until the meeting with Kim Kelly on the first.
5. The meeting minutes from September 17, 2012 were approved as written.
6. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 15, 2012 at 4pm.
