MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: March 7, 2011
Present: Stephen Enoch, Robert Annelli, Peter Kolodziej and John Makuc
The meeting began at 3:35pm
1. The minutes from 2.7.11 were approved as written.
2. Mail was reviewed.
3. The Board reviewed septic plans submitted for 37 Steven’s Lake Rd. The septic design is fine but there is information missing on the plans. Peter will contact Greylock Designs to let them know what is missing to send in updated plans. The Board needs to know what the future plans are for the existing barn. More information needs to be provided on the adjacent properties as well. This will be a jet bat with a perc right system. There is a bedroom addition which means it will be per new construction standards. The Board would also like an existing and proposed floor plan.
4. The ZBA application for 9 New Marlboro Rd was reviewed and the Board submitted the written opinion to the ZBA.
5. The Board reviewed the Berkshire Visiting Nurse Associations FY12 contract and signed it.
6. The Board updated the nomination papers for the Animal Inspector (Robert Annelli) and 2 alternates (Stephen Enoch and John Makuc). The forms will be notarized and sent into the Department of Agricultural Resources which is the appointing authority. The appointments run from May 1, 2011 – April 30, 2012.
7. The Board discussed the fact that the Monterey General Store has not yet renewed their food service, retail food, catering, common victualler’s, tobacco and bakery permits for 2011. It is the Board’s understanding that the store is closing it’s doors. Inspections were made but the Boardd feels that a pro-rated amount should be paid for the proper operating permits for Jan. – Mar 2011. Kenn will be called tomorrow and asked to bring the necessary paperwork and pro-rated fee.
8. The Board will next meet on the 21st of March.
