MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

The meeting began at 3:35pm
1. Robert Lazzarini, ZBA member came in to discuss some concerns he had regarding the special permit application for the Mandelbaum’s of 521 Main Rd. Bob’s main concerns center on whether any of the "Seasonal Cabins", which have had their kitchens deemed inactivate, still have toilets that feed into the 3 bedroom-sized septic field designated for the new house. If so, BOH may want to require a bigger field. How are seasonal cabins viewed when defunct but still standing in counting bedrooms? The outhouse listed on the plans doesn’t exist on the property any longer. The Board of Health explained why they are requesting that a Title V be done after construction but prior to a certificate of occupancy being issued by the Building Department.
2. Peter would like to speak with the Board at some point about his plans for retirement and availability to the town as a consultant.
