MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: October 19, 2009
Present: John Makuc, Stephen Enoch and Robert Annelli
Also Present for Parts of the Meeting: Chris Tryon of Kelly, Granger and Parsons
The meeting began at 3:35pm
1. Chris Tryon came in to discuss the following with the Board:
a. 445 Main Rd: The project will be done in 2 phases since there weren’t enough perc test results. Phase I is Ray’s house, the shop and the cottage. Phase II will include the tea room. Peter reviewed the plans last week and was ok with the proposal as long as the plans showed the two phases. There will be a deed restriction concerning the access to the leaching field. The Board asked if there were floor plans to review; the Board will not issue a certificate of compliance without verifying this. The system was designed for 10 bedrooms even though there are only 5 currently. The Board asked for written confirmation that it was 200ft from the river. The Board also requested that a wetland delineation be performed (soil vs. vegetative).
2. The minutes from 10.5.09 were approved as written.
3. Mail was reviewed.
4. The seasonal flu clinic brought in 63 people, the most we had to date.
