MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: August 31, 2009
Present: John Makuc and Robert Annelli
Also Present for Parts of the Meeting: Brent White (White Engineering)
The meeting began at 3:40pm
1. The minutes from 8.3.09 were approved as written.
2. Brent White of White Engineering was present to discuss the following properties:
a. 22A Elephant Rock: There is 5 bedroom cottage with an existing 500 gallon tank. White Engineering is looking at an i.e. technology system. Perc tests were performed last week and it has good soils and a very favorable perc rate. They aren’t sure if any variances will be needed. Plans will be submitted soon.
b. 4 Art School Rd: A septic system was designed for the main house when it was all one property; the owners are being advised to draw up an easement since the property has been divided. The barn is being rehabbed and they’d like to tie into the current system and install a new leach field. A floor plan will need to be submitted for the existing buildings and renovations with the septic plans.
3. The Board reviewed their mail.
4. The H1N1 and regular flu vaccines were discussed; flu clinic dates have not been determined for Monterey yet.
