MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: June 2, 2008
Present: Stephen Enoch, John Makuc, Robert Annelli and Peter Kolodziej
Also Present: Stefan Grotz and Peter Vallianos
The meeting began at 3:45pm
1. Mail was reviewed.
2. Peter Vallianos and Stefan Grotz came in to discuss the following with the Board:
a. Sylvia Allen property located on Sylvan Rd. Peter Kolodziej sent a letter to the owners last week.
3. The minutes from 5.5.08 were approved as written.
4. The Board reviewed the ZBA application for 7 Seven Arts Rd, Regenstreich property and responded to the Board with the following:
a. The Board has reviewed the septic construction application and plans on file with the Board of Health and has determined that in order to give their approval the Board will require a copy showing where the new proposed footprint will be in relation to the existing footprint.
5. Peter Kolodziej spoke with the Board about the Lombardo rental properties located on Pixley Rd. There is a continued hearing to be held tomorrow. The owner has not been able to complete all of the work required by the Town. Peter has spoken with the Building Inspector and they both feel that giving Mr. Lombardo another 30 days to finish is acceptable. A fax cover letter was written to the Clerk Magistrate and faxed.
6. Peter Kolodziej performed an inspection at the Lake Shore house located on the KSAMass property (formerly known as Seven Stones).
7. The Board discussed the ongoing complaint from residents on Art School Rd about a noisy transformer. The residents are complaining that there is a “tone violation” occurring. This complaint has been investigated by DEP and National Grid and both agencies do not feel there is a problem and have closed their investigations.
8. The Board will next meet on Monday, July 7th unless something comes up in the meantime.
